Linda Dierks is a licensed Media Specialist, a.k.a. Information Innovation Learning Specialist, at Chaska Middle School East in Eastern Carver County Schools. She has also been a Media Specialist at the elementary level and a classroom teacher, working in education since 1993 in suburban and rural school districts. Alongside her normal duties, she has worked with her colleagues in ECCS to update the Library Materials Selection and Reconsideration Policy and process and is continuing to face multiple book challenges.
